  • On Monday, November 7, students had a chance to participate in a mock election.  They learned about the importance of voting and made registration cards.  They came to the computer lab and went to a private voting booth to cast their votes for president and governor!  Some used paper ballots and some used electronic ballots.  It was an exciting opportunity for them to experience the voting process.  Here are the results!

    President
    Donald Trump - 174 votes (49.2%)
    Hillary Clinton - 168 (47.5%)
    Other - 12 votes (3.4%)

    Governor
    Pat McCrory - 186 votes (52.5%)
    Roy Cooper - 159 votes (44.9%)
    Other - 9 votes (2.5%)
