  • End of Grade (EOG) testing days are approaching and we are in need of volunteer proctors.  Proctors monitor students during testing for about 3 hours.  Our test dates are during the last week of May beginning on  May 27. Please contact us and let us know if you are available.

  • Kindergarten Registration 2015 - 2016 
    If you have a child that will turn 5 years old on or before August 31, 2015, it's time to register them for Kindergarten.  To register you must fill out the enrollment forms in the school office.  You must also bring your child's certified birth certificate, immunization records and 2 (two) proofs of residence.   If you have any questions, please call the school office at 919-563-3722.

  • Science Club Volunteers Needed 

    Parents we are in need of volunteers with expertise in science to help with our after school science club program.  Last year was our first year participating in the Science Olympiad and we would like to continue that opportunity for our students.  We need several volunteers to work with students on developing expertise in a variety of areas including designing, engineering, experimenting and basic science concepts.  Please let us know in the office if you can help with these activities.

  • Pre-K Program Enrollment
    Children who will be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2014 may be eligible to register for Pre-Kindergarten classes for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year. Pre-K programs target at-risk four year olds who may not be ready to enter Kindergarten due to certain risk factors, including: low income, health-related conditions, developmental delays, and English as a second language.

    Parents are encouraged to complete and submit an application, along with required documents as listed on the application form, for a review of their child’s eligibility. Applications are available at the Alamance-Burlington school district’s administrative office at 1712 Vaughn Road in Burlington, at any Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS) elementary school, at the Ray Street Academy at 609 Ray Street in Graham, or on the ABSS website: In addition, applications are available at the Alamance Partnership for Children office at 2322 River Road in Burlington, or at any Head Start location in Alamance County.
