  • We need your help!  Our students will be taking their End-of-Grade tests on Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30.  We are still short 9 proctors for each day of testing.  

     
    • Who can proctor?  If you are at least 18 years old and are not currently a student of any Alamance-Burlington school, you can!  Parents, grandparents, neighbors, and regular ol’ folks are all welcome!  Some employers even give paid time off for volunteer work like this.

     

    • What do proctors do?  You will help the test administrators monitor student behavior, escort them whenever they need to leave the classroom, and generally make sure testing rules are followed.  It’s not hard to be a proctor, but it’s essential to have enough proctors for each day of testing.

     

    If you can help us on any or all of these days, please click here to download a Proctor Form and return it to school.  You can also pick up a form from our front desk.  Or, you can sign up online.

    The Chorus Concert date has been changed from May 23 to Tuesday, June 4th.  This is a free, non-ticketed event and we hope that much of the Hawfields family will attend to support our singers!  All chorus students need to meet in Mrs. Westbrook's room between 6:15 and 6:30 for warm-up.  The concert will be at 7:00 PM in the Hawfields Middle School School Cafeteria.

  • Football summer camp and workouts will take place this summer. Click here to download the schedule and sign-up form. Please contact Coach Marinis if you have any questions.

     

    Cheerleading Tryouts will be May 20 – 22 after school.  You must have completed a packet in order to try out.
