The spring musical is this week. Join the cast of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" in ther quest to "live like the other half" and to "find the true meaning of love".

Staff vs. Senior Game
Attention Seniors! It's that time of year again! If you're interested in playing in the Staff Vs. Seniors Basketball game you must sign up on the school's home page by Wed. May 3rd. Student Council Election
Student council elections will take place on Thursday, May 18th. If you are interested in running for president or vice presidento yoour class, please get an application from Mrs. McIntyre's room in B1. Applications are due by Monday May 1st.

Anyone Interested in joining Dream Team for the 2017-2018 school year must fill out an application online on the schools home page. Any new member must apply by May 31st @ 3:15. Applications will be available starting Monday, May 1st.
Freshman Orientation Guide Application
Any student wishing to be a freshman orientation guide should check their school email for the application. All applications are due May 1, 2017 and no late forms will be accepted. See Ms. Seligman with any questions.

Any girl interested in trying out for Volleyball next year, there will be open gyms on Monday April 24th 3:30-5, Tuesday April 25th 3:30 -5, and Thursday April 27th 3:30-5.
Herff Jones will be in the commons durring lunches next Thursday, April 27th to distribute Cap and Gowns. If you ordered late yours may not be here yet. Mrs. Stuart will pass out at her convenience when they arrive.

It is never too early to start looking into summer or pre-college programs as a high school student. There are invaluable internships out there, too! Make sure you check university, government, or organization websites, and always verify any programs you find.

The NC Youth Conservation Corps (NCYCC) is accepting applications from youth ages 16 to 24 for 2017 summer crews. As a NCYCC Corps Member, you will buildand improve hiking trails, parks, recreational facilities and wildlife habitats, make a difference in peoples lives, and have the experience of a lifetime. Crew members earn $9.60 an hour and may be eligible for an Americorps Education Award. This is an especially good opportunity for youth interested in the outdoors and/or environmental science. After School Tutoring
Calling all students looking to get caught up or get ahead- after school tutoring has started, and will be taking place most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in the Media Center starting this week. No transportation provided, but there will be a teacher available and a student tutor as well. See Ms. Wu in Counseling if you have any questions.
Book Club meets every Wednesday after school in the library and we are accepting new members.
Students v. Staff Basketball Game
It's that time again to watch the Seniors take on the Staff in a game of basketball. If you are interested you cannot be in attendance or discipline trouble. Please sign up on or before May 3rd and pay $10 to Coach Perry or Mrs. Murray (front office) before 2 pm every day for a shirt and reserve your spot to play. Please bring correct change. The first 20 to sign up and pay will play. NO Senior School Basketball team members will be allowed to participate. Game time will be at 6:30 pm. Location of the game may be at Western Middle School, will be confirmed the week of the game.
Parking Passes SOLD OUT
You may still register and be placed on a waiting list. When and if spaces become available you will be notified based on the date and time of registration. Please do not pay with a credit card. For the remainder of the year, it will be on a cash only basis of $15 per pass.
Please bring to the Counseling Office a stamped envelope for your final transcript addressed to the college you will be attending as soon as possible.
Your application will not be complete without the final transcript.
