    The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is field testing three components of the revised certification process. The revisions will make the certification process more flexible, affordable and efficient so that many more teachers and students of education can benefit. National Board Certified Teachers, as well as teachers who have not yet achieved certification, are invited to apply for the field tests. View details.

    Parents and guardians, if you have a student in your household who has an immediate family member connected with the U. S. military, please take a few minutes to complete a short form (ENGLISH | SPANISH.) This includes family members serving on active duty, in the National Guard and Reserves, Retired Military, Disabled Veterans or Civil Service Employees. The information on the short survey form is being collected on behalf of the North Carolina General Assembly to ensure that the unique needs of military-connected students are met. We would appreciate your participation.
