  • September 27, 2014: ABSS Special Education PTA (SEPTA) Kickoff
    11 am – 1 pm, Elon University, behind Koury Business Center, O’Kelly Avenue in Elon

    The Department of Exceptional Children of the Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS) and the ABSS Special Education PTA invites all families of students with disabilities to attend the fourth annual SEPTA kickoff event on Saturday, September 27th, at Elon University from 11am until 1pm.  The interactive family event will include pizza, games, and fun activities along with community organizations on hand to share information about programs and resources with families.  The event will be located behind the Koury Business Center at Elon University on O’Kelly Avenue.  Visitor parking will be available on both sides of O’Kelly Avenue.

    North Carolina’s educator effectiveness model includes a teacher’s contribution to student learning as an explicit standard in his or her evaluation.
