ABSS team to present at national conference

A TEAM OF five educators from the Alamance-Burlington School System has been selected to present an informational session for the 2012 American School Counselor Association conference.
The team from the system’s Student Support Services division will present on the topic “Developing Student Support Services Teams for your District based on the American School Counselor Association National Model.” The presentation will take place during the national event scheduled for June in Minneapolis.
Team members include Marrius Pettiford, director of the Alamance-Burlington Student Support Services Division; Vernetta Bridges, lead school counselor; Tyra Ross, lead school social worker; Marian Farmer, student support teams coordinator; and LaJuana Norfleet, school counselor at Andrews Elementary.
