The Governor's School of North Carolina is the oldest statewide summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students in the nation The program is open to rising seniors only, with exceptions for rising juniors in selected performing/visual arts areas. Parents/students can choose to purchase insurance for mobile learning devices for the 2021/2022 school year at a cost of $25. This payment will cover any unintentional damage to the device for the 2021/2022 school year. You are encouraged to purchase insurance as quickly as possible, however, the cut off date for purchasing insurance will be September 7th. Intentional damage will be addressed by the ABSS Code of Conduct. This is a non-refundable insurance payment. If you opt out of the insurance you will be responsible for paying should your computer get damaged (broken cover, keys popped off, cracked screen, etc.).
Eastern Alamance High School is offering a November driver education class for students 14 1/2 and older but not older than 18 years old. Students must not miss any days or be late. Please see the details below. The oldest 50 students will be admitted to the class. Lottery will be cut off once 120 submissions are entered and then I will email the students who have been accepted. The class information is below.
