Induction into the Southern High National Honor Society is based on four criteria: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Once grades are finalized at the end of the first semester of the 11th grade, all students who have earned a cumulative UNWEIGHTED Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher will receive an application to be considered for induction. Induction into the NHSDA Secondary Program is earned through the accumulation of at least 30 points awarded for dance and community service activities. Induction requirements also include an overall GPA of 3.0 (unweighted) and active involvement in the SAHS dance department.
