Alamance CAP Apprenticeship Program Interest Meetings Scheduled
High school students and their parents are invited to attend an interest meeting about the Alamance Career Accelerator Program, a high school apprenticeship program available for high school juniors and seniors with 7 local businesses and Alamance Community College.  The local businesses have developed a 4-year apprenticeship program that will offer a paid summer internship, combined with on-the-job training and a 2-year associates degree in Mechatronics from Alamance Community College, all paid for by the local company.  In addition, at the end of the 4- year apprenticeship program, participating students will be offered a guaranteed job upon completion of the program.  For more information about Alamance CAP, please visit their website: alamanceCAP.com

Parents and students, please make plans to attend one of the 10 upcoming interest meetings to hear local industry representatives and current apprentices share more about this outstanding career opportunity combined with a 2-year college degree. For freshmen and sophomores, this is a great opportunity to learn about options available for you when you reach the 11th and 12th grades.

Meetings will be held beginning at 6:00 pm as follows:
