Architect Firm to Present First Concept for Southern Alamance High School Renovations
Pinnacle Architecture to share concept at community input session on October 21
The architect firm selected for the Southern Alamance High School renovation project financed with voter-approved bond proceeds will host a community session on Monday, October 21 from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Southern Alamance High School auditorium. The school is located at 631 Southern High School Road in Graham.
Alamance County residents are invited to attend for the opportunity to view the first conceptual drawing for the project and participate in an input-gathering session led by representatives of Pinnace Architecture from Matthews, North Carolina.
Alamance CAP Apprenticeship Program Interest Meetings Scheduled
High school juniors and seniors, interested in a career opportunity where you can earn a degree from ACC, have a guaranteed job upon completion in a high demand field and get paid while you work and go to school? Attend a student/parent interest meeting with representatives from the Alamance Career Accelerator Program or ask the Career Development Coordinator at your high school. Interest meetings begin at 6:00 pm:

The Career Accelerator Program (or CAP Apprenticeship Program) information session for parents and students is on Monday, October 14, 6 p.m., in the Media Center. Those attending will learn more about opportunities for a tuition-free Associate Degree in Mechatronics, CNC Machining, Mechanical or Electrical and guaranteed employment with benefits.
