Hello! My name is Erin Leventhal and this is my 12th year as South Mebane Elementary School's Speech and Language Pathologist! This is my 17th year in the Public School system and my 19th year as a practicing Speech Pathologist. I have worked with a variety of students and disorders including, but not limited to: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students, Augmentative Communication, Students with Severe and Profound disabilities, Students with learning disabilities, and Preschool Students with disabilities.
Here at SME, I am responsible for providing therapy services for children who currently have Individualized Education Plans, as well as providing intervention for students involved in our Response to Intervention/Problem Solving Model program and aiding in prevention by providing classroom services and activities for all students.
When I'm away from school I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, as well as running, hiking and kayaking to stay active! I also have a love for cooking, knitting and reading on the weekends!
Please take a look around my webpage and contact me if you have any questions about Speech and Language here at SME!
