Welcome to my webpage! It has now been updated for the fall semester of the 2019-2020 school year.
About me: I grew up in Chicago, Illinois before moving down to North Carolina to attend High Point University where I received a B.A. in English literature with a track in secondary education. The 2019-20 school year will be my third full year teaching at Southern, and I'm super excited to share my love for literature from every corner of the globe. I'm currently the sponsor of the Odyssey of the Mind club (more information down at the bottom for those interested). Please feel free to reach out and contact me using the information above (email is usually best) with any questions regarding my class. I'm looking forward to another amazing year!
Remind: I use an app called Remind to communicate important dates, deadlines, and updates with my students. All contact information is obscured through the application. If any parents or guardians would like to be included in the Remind messages I send, please send me an email and I can get you set up.
