    The biology teachers at Southern High School have worked very hard in the last few years to make biology as relevant to students as possible and to include many activities that are designed to accomplish this goal.  Also, biology is a course with a state test as a final exam.  This exam will count 20% of the student’s final grade.  One of our goals is to do activities that will be similar to the test questions; therefore, students will benefit in immediate grades and in preparing for their final exam by completing assignments.
