    Special Project Information 
    Our PTA works with our principal to provide needs for the school through special projects.  Some of our projects include:
    • Annual monies to staff members for classroom supplies
    • The PTO allocated funds for the technology needs of the school.  (2012)
    • The PTO sponsored the annual Book Fair and returned all funds earned to the media center.  This special project allowed the media center to purchase the following items (2011):
      • Smartboard,  fresh painted walls, new books, new play-aways (books on MP3 players), document camera, and new "lounge" furniture
    • The PTO used funds to help purchase more Smart Boards, helped with funding for security cameras for the school, and used funds to construct an Outdoor Classroom (2010)
    • The PTA helped purchase some Smart Boards for classroom use (2009)
    • The PTA helped with the purchase of the safety mulch for the playgrounds (2008)
    • The PTA purchased 21 new computers for the computer lab (2007)
    **NOTE: Special Projects Monies were not spent during the 2012-2013 school year.  The PTO voted to roll the funds over to the 2013-2014 school year to allow for larger source of monies available for the 2013-2014 special project.
