    E.M. Holt PTO VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

E.M. Holt and the PTO need your help! There are many opportunities through the year where we need parent volunteers to help with various events.  The more parents we have to help, the better our school will be for our children. Below is a list of PTO events and committees that need volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer, please print out the Volunteer Registration Form, fill out, and send in to your child's teacher by September 27.   If you have a special talent/skill or have access to resources that would benefit E.M. Holt students or staff, feel free to write a note at the bottom of the Volunteer Registration Form and someone will contact you directly.

BOOK FAIR:   The Book Fair is typically held in February or March. Volunteers help tally student purchases, collect money during the event and assist students during shopping times.

BOX TOPS AND SOUP LABELS: You can do this from home!  Cut box tops and soup labels that are regularly turned in.  Please see our Box Tops page for more information.

FALL FESTIVAL: Assist with games and food on the night of the event, help with set up and clean up.

    FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
: Help with the annual tile night and dinner.

HOSPITALITY: Assist committee in providing food, treats, etc. for staff at E.M.Holt. This committee recognizes staff birthdays, organizes special events for teachers on a monthly basis to show our appreciation for their dedication.

MOVIE NIGHT:  Assist committee with planning for, setting up, working during, and cleaning up for movie night.

SANTA SHOP: Event designed to allow student purchase gifts for their families during the Christmas season.  Volunteers help with merchandise set-up and assist students during shopping times.

STUDENT STORE: Volunteers staff the Wildcat Store on a rotating basis, typically for 30 minutes, two days per week.

Your child’s teacher may also have areas in the classroom or outside of the classroom where they may need your help. Please ask if you can help.

Please remember when volunteering at the school, sign in at the front desk so we may keep a record of your visit.

You can download our Volunteer Registration form to sign up for volunteer opportunities (print, fill out, and return to your child's teacher in an envelope marked for PTO), or contact us.

Thank you so much for volunteering your time.
