Football Youth Camp Coach Curtis Walker will be on July 28, 2018 at Williams HS. Coach Curtis Walker is head football coach at Catawba University and played at Williams High School and Graham HS.
Camp will be for Ages 6-14; 9:00am-12 noon
with an 8:00am registration.
Cost is 2 canned foods for our Homeless shelter
The Catawba Coaching Staff will be there!

Please see below for information on Volunteer workouts, tryout and practice dates.
- In order to attend and volunteer workout or football tryouts you must have a current (within one year) Sports Physical on file with the school!!! –NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
- Rising 8th graders must have passed all of their Spring Semester Core (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science) classes and 1 of their electives!!!
- Attendance at any volunteer workout does not guarantee acceptance to the team.
- Tryout Dates are August 20th and 21st

Turrentine Football Team Rules
1.) All Coaches have ultimate say over player discipline and can dismiss a player at any time.
2.) You must be at practice and on time and picked up on time at the end of practice.
3.) You must adhere to all Turrentine School codes of conduct and all
Alamance-Burlington System codes of conduct.
4.) You must ride the activity bus home from all games. Any exceptions must be cleared in advance.
5.) You must have your ride pick you up after each practice and game no later than 5 minutes from their completion.
6.) You must meet all eligibility requirements in regards to attendance, school zone, academics and age for both semesters. The Alamance-Burlington School System requires that a student must pass Math, Language
Arts, Science and Social Studies plus one elective to maintain eligibility.
7.) As a player you represent not only yourself but you also represent your teammates, coaches, and school. We have high expectations for your conduct and academic progress at Turrentine.
8.) Once a student first enters the seventh grade he or she will have four (4) consecutive semesters of eligibility.
A player will have discipline measures taken for any violation of these rules. One such measure could also include the dismissal from the team.
AS IN ANY SPORT THAT INVOLVES MOVEMENT THERE ARE
SOME INHERENT RISKS FOR INJURY. THE COACHES, SCHOOL,
AND SYSTEM WILL TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO
ENSURE THE SAFETY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.

July 9 – 11 (Monday through Wednesday) Awakening Football Camp 9am to Noon (First Baptist Church 400 S. Broad Street) $10 fee (includes lunch)
August 13 – 17 (Monday through Friday) Volunteer Workouts 4 – 6 pm
August 20 – 21 (Monday and Tuesday) Tryouts 4 – 6 pm (MUST ATTEND)
August 22 First Day of Practice 4 – 6 pm
August 24 – 25 Practice 4 – 6 pm
August 26 Only Saturday Practice 9am – 11am
