My name is Thea (Jones) Johnson and I joined Eastern Alamance High School in January of 2017.
As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community of Eastern Alamance High School.

Senior Conferences are from 9/9-10/31SAT and ACT Registration:SAT, www.collegeboard.comACT, www.act.orgFee waivers are available for eligible students. See your counselor in guidance.For Juniors:-Talk with your counselor about the year ahead. Confirm your courses put you on track for college admission.-Check ACT & SAT test dates and registration deadlines.-Develop a resume - include accomplishments, activities, and work experience.-Consider clubs at school, team sports, leadership roles, or involvment in a religious or civic community group.-Give thought to taking the PSAT as taking it as a junior may qualify you for some National Merit Scholarships (NMSQT).-Prepare to take the ACT or SAT.-Explore summer opportunities on college campuses.-Research colleges & universities. Attend college fairs and open houses. Plan college visits.-Develop a preliminary list of colleges that interest you, request additional information online.-Consider a summer job or internship.
