When you do research, it helps to think through your topic before you dive into a Google search. What kind of information are you looking for? What kind of sources do you need? Do you very clearly understand the research assignment? Are there multiple ways to phrase your research question? What search terms or key words would help you find good sources? What is a good source?!

If you are purposeful with your search, it can save you a lot of time!
When you have information, be sure to cite it! If you need help citing information, we can help you with that in the library as well. Our library catalog will create citations on resources we have here.
