Alyssa Barnhardt

Alyssa is a rising Junior at Western Alamance High School.  She plays varsity golf and soccer and is a member of the Warrior swim team.  She enjoys volunteering for Interact, Key Club, and Wish Kids and is an active member in Student Council.  Alyssa's favorite subjects in school are math, science, and psychology.  After high school, she hopes to attend UNC-Chapel Hill and earn a degree in Nursing Science.  In her free time, Alyssa enjoys playing sports, reading, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends and family.  This is Alyssa's second year as a FROG and her advice to the rising freshman is to get involved with something you're interested in at school because that's the best way to make high school a super fun experience!  She's so excited to meet the class of 2023 and hopes that you pick her to be your FROG!  It's going to be a great year!  Go Warriors!!!

Amelia Bernston

Amelia is a rising sophomore at Western. She is a member of Key Club and plays volleyball for the school and for a club team. She enjoys hanging out with her family and friends but also enjoys binge watching Netflix. Her favorite subjects are English and science but she especially enjoyed dance class with Ms. Rogers. She is so excited to welcome the class of 2023 to Western High School!!

Savannah Bernston

Savannah is a rising junior. She plays school and club volleyball. Her favorite subject is math and she enjoys taking challenging classes. After college she wants to go into Ministry and be a youth pastor or a missionary. She enjoys going to church at Trinity Worship Center and she loves volunteering in children’s ministry. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family. She likes to eno and go out to eat with her friends.

Macie Coe

Macie is a rising senior at Western. She plays volleyball and runs track. Her favorite subject is science and hopes to attend the University of South Carolina or UNC- Chapel Hill after high school. When she graduates she wants to go into the medical field and work with children. She goes to church at St. Mark’s and loves going to Jonathan Creek for church camp. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, and traveling. Her favorite place to go is Smith Mountain Lake.

Adam Compton

Adam Compton is a rising junior here at Western Alamance High School. He is in WA Cappella, Student Council, and he runs Track and Field. He likes taking the theatre and dance classes here at Western. After high school, Adam hopes to attend UNC Wilmington or NC State University. In his free time he enjoys doing community theatre as well as spending time with friends and family. Adam welcomes all new Warriors to Western!

Emma Cox

Emma is a rising Senior. She plays on the Softball team and is also a member in Wa Cappella. Emma enjoys taking chorus classes along with participating in clubs. After high school Emma hopes to attend UNC Chapel Hill. In her free time Emma plays travel softball, sings, and spends time with her friends. Congratulations on being a Warrior!

Mckenzie Dowler

Mackenzie is a rising Senior at Western Alamance High School. She plays on Westerns tennis team. After high school, she plans on attending Rutgers University in New Jersey to receive her degree in Pharmacy. Mackenzie is part of National Honors Society, here at Western. And loves to volunteer to help out students and the community. In her free time, Mackenzie loves working at Burlington Tennis Center and Alamance Country Club with kids of all ages. She also enjoys driving around town with her friends. Mackenzie, is so happy to meet you all, and show you what an amazing place Western Alamance is.

Emmah Fields

Emmah Fields is an upcoming junior at Western High this year. She participates in several activities at western including Key Club, Interact Club, Student Council, The Western Alamance Dance Marathon Committee, and Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy. She also plays soccer. She is on the WAHS soccer team, and plays travel soccer for Mebane. She enjoys social studies classes, photography, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, being with her family, as well as traveling. Some of her favorite classes through high school so far have been AP psychology and AP world history. After high school she plans to go to college and would like to become a forensic psychologist or a journalist. Emmah loves the sense of community, as well as the spirit that Western Alamance has and can not wait to welcome the upcoming freshman to it!!!

Sadler Gwyn

Sadler is a rising junior at Western Alamance high school. She plays on both the golf and softball teams for the school. She loves to attend the football games and taking science classes. After high school Sadler hopes to attend NC State University to pursue a major in biology. In her free time Sadler loves taking naps, enoing, and hanging out with her friends. Roll Warriors!

Cate Harris

Cate is a rising junior at Western Alamance High School. She plays volleyball, is the president of the Kids Helping Wish Kids Club, and participates in Interact Club and Warrior Buddies. She enjoys eating sushi, playing volleyball, and hanging out with friends. During her free time, she plays the guitar and ukulele, reads, and watches movies. She loves meeting new people and can’t wait to meet you!

Meredith Jolly

Meredith Jolly is a rising senior at WAHS. She plays on the soccer team and is also involved in many school clubs. These include interact club, science club, WADM, Spanish Honors Society and National Honors Society. She is president of Key Club and student body treasurer for Student Council. Meredith hopes to attend the University of Virginia with a major in chemistry and a minor in spanish. She cannot wait to meet the upcoming freshmen and hopes that they enjoy their high school experience as much as she has these past three years!

Meredith Koonts is a sophomore at Western. Outside of school she competes in and coaches gymnastics. She is also one of our sophomore class representative in the student body government. She loves being a student at Western because it is a very inclusive school with many clubs, sports, and school spirit. She says that Western has an amazing and understanding faculty who really care about their students.

Zachary Limer

Zachery Limer is a rising Sophomore here at Western. He swims on the swim team and plays on the tennis team. He is fluent in spanish and enjoys taking pictures and hanging out with his friends. Hayden Ni

Hayden is a rising sophomore at WAHS. She participates in many clubs like Key Club, Interact Club, Student Council, Kids Helping Wish Kids, and many more. She is also on Westerns track team. Hayden enjoys helping out in the community, over the summer she spends time volunteering at a retirement home. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Summer Randleman

Summer Randleman is a very caring person. She always tries to put others first. She really likes to make sure others are happy because, seeing others happy makes her happy. Summer likes to listen to A LOT of music, play video games, hang out with friends and family, or even just sit outside and listen to nature. She really enjoys her alone time but she also loves being around others, and being active doing something fun. One thing Summer really loves about Western is that a lot of the teachers there are VERY understanding with things. She really enjoys learning new things that she finds interesting.

Sarah Scruggs

Sarah is a rising senior here at Western and this is her second year as a FROG. She is all about getting involved within the school as she plays for the girls varsity basketball team, is the senior representative within student council, and is in other clubs as well. Her favorite subject is science and she hopes to follow her sisters footsteps next year in attending Appalachian State University. In her free time she enjoys going to summer camps with her church, working at Olde Forest, and hanging out with her friends. She is excited to be a FROG again this year and welcomes you with open arms into the new school year! Go Warriors!!!

Monica is a rising senior at Western Alamance High School. She enjoys working and taking nursing classes at CTEC. Monica plans to go to East Carolina University to further her education as a nurse after high school. In her free time she likes to go to the pool, play games with her nephew and niece, babysit, and make memories with her best friend.
