Welcome to Food and Nutrition 1 class!
Topics studied in Foods and Nutrition I include (not in any particular order): recipe parts and terms, kitchen safety and sanitation practices, cooking procedures, equipment and methods, measuring, cutting/prep, cooking/cleaning terms and practices of all food groups, healthy eating practices and meal planning, basics of table etiquette and manners.
Class Supplies Needed:
1 Spiral Notebook & Rolls of Scotch Tape
(Single Subject PLASTIC covered notebook)
*Interactive student notebook will be periodically graded and count as a major test grade.
