This is my 21st year teaching at AO Elementary. I graduated from Elon University with a BA Degree and earned my Master's Degree from UNCG. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher and I am a certified AIG classroom teacher. I LOVE teaching students to read with accuracy and fluency and helping them build strong comprehension skills. What is most powerful to me is watching them begin to understand and "get it" whether in reading, math, or any other subject.  I look forward to a fantastic year.
