My Philosophy of Education
A teacher is there to share their gift of knowledge with young people. I believe as educators we are great leaders in our classroom, school, and community. In order for educators to be great leaders, they should not attempt to rule over those who follow them, but be the most effective leaders that believe in motivation not intimidation. Classroom instruction should be based on the students in mind first. The classroom instruction should meet the three different learning styles (i.e., kinesthetic, auditory, and visual) of each student. I believe that my purpose in education is to help develop and enhance the minds of all students (i.e., typical and atypical development).
