I was born and raised in Roanoke, VA, just 3 hours up river from here.  I graduated from Radford University in 1998, and then earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from UNCG in 2009.  In my off hours, I like to do outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and vegetable gardening.  I also love to travel. I have been to all 50 states in the United States and I am hoping to travel abroad one day. I joined Hawfields in August 2018 and I continue to look forward to the next step!
