    I am excited to be teaching Food Science for the 1st time this semester. This class is based on the NC Foods II-Technology curriculum. I will fill up this sight with useful resources as the semester progress. 
     
    Food Science topics covered:
       Farm to table
       Biotechnology
       Microbiology
       Nutrient
       Enzymes
     
    Concepts will be taught through labs, experiments, hands-on manipulatives, project based learning, and additional engaging methods.  
    Food Science in Inherently Honors; which means the state curriculum is rigorous and requires a high level of critical thinking skills. I will hold these students to a high level of expectation and challenge them academically.
