• Instructions for 1st iMovie (Framing and Camera Movements)

     
    1. Check to see that you have filmed camera movements and framing shots, and know where those clips are (5-10 seconds of each).

    2. Open iMovieImage result for iMovie icon

    5. Select Image result for iMovie selecta theme or “No Theme”

    8. Start building your video on the timeline…. Please put it in this order:                                                               (Framing)Long shot, Medium Shot, Close Up, Extreme Close up                                                                                     Cut-in, Rule of Thirds example                                                                                                                                            (Angles) High Shot, Low Shot, Eye-level shot                                                                                                                          (Camera Movement) Pan, Truck, Dolly, Zoom, Tilt, Pedestal

    10. Add Text on or in front of EVERY VIDEO CLIP . Each clip should be labeled as to what it is. Framing, Angles and Camera Movements should be on their own slides before the section they represent.                            Video Instructions: https://youtu.be/tT0iKNx9E

    11. To Export (or “Share” as Mac calls things.): Image result for iMovie exportSelect “File”  Watch WHERE you save the file.

    12. Upload your video to YouTube, and add the embedded file to your WIX page Under a “VIDEO” header

    13. Call the page “Video Basics”

    14. Make sure you PUBLISH the page
