• Pop Tabs

Please take the pop tabs off of your cans and turn them in to me!! At the end of the year, kids who have worked hard and brought in lots of tabs will have the opportunity to go to the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel to drop off all the tabs collected throughout the year!! They take the tabs to a recycling place that weighs them and writes them a check for 10% more than the amount for them to use to help out at the house. They have helped to build playgrounds for children to play and this year it will be used to help add on to the house for parents to stay in while their child is in the hospital. This is a wonderful way to help out those in need. Let's all be thankful for what we have!!!

  • Read to Achieve

This is the third year third grade will implement the state mandated requirement known as Read to Achieve. This initiative requires that all third grade students be proficient in reading (reading on a third grade reading level) in order to be promoted to fourth grade. Please make yourself familiar with this initiative, as it greatly impacts our children. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, our Academic Coach Mrs. Allison Russell, or our administration. You will be kept up to date with information throughout the year. Thank you in advance for encouraging your child to read, read, read!
