Alamance Career Accelerator Program (CAP)
The Career Accelerator Program (CAP) is an apprenticeship opportunity for juniors and seniors. Upon completion of this 4-year program, students will have earned an Associate in Applied Science degree from Alamance Community College, and have been paid for nearly 8,000 hours of valuable work experiece. All tuition, books and fees are paid by CAP business partners, while students also earn a competitive wage on the job and in class at ACC. Students also have options to transfer Associate degree credits to most state four-year universities toward a bachelor's degree through tuition reimbursement programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn a tuition-free college degree, obtain highly trained skills and work experience, all while earning competitive pay and benefits as early as the senior year in school. For more program details and to see qualifications, visit Alamance CAP and see your high school Career Development Coordinator, Pam Smith, to express your interest in the program early in your junior or senior year. The application process begins each year during the fall semester.
