Attendance and attention during instructional time are vital to a student’s success.
Repeated absences create gaps in student learning and problems in achievement.
Ms. Caviness strongly encourages students and parents to email her if a student is absent from class to ensure prompt and clear communication concerning opportunities to make up instruction and assignments.
It is important for students to make up missed assignments in a timely fashion.
Since students often need instruction and guidance prior to completing an assignment or assessment, Ms. Caviness is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:25 - 4:30 PM or by appointment.
