Pre-Collegiate Academy and BioTech Pathway Interest Meetings
Are you interested in earning college credits and even an associate’s degree while in high school? Do you enjoy learning by doing and working in labs that have state-of-the-art equipment? Do you want to be exposed to various colleges in order to make the right choice after high school? If so, please plan on attending one the informational sessions listed below to learn how you can be involved in activities and programs that promote a more rigorous course of study, but still allow you to be a traditional high school student. The Pre-Collegiate Academy is open to rising freshmen and the BioTech Pathway is open to rising juniors. All meetings are at 6 p.m.

Early College 8th Grade Student and Parent Interest Meetings
Parents and students may attend whichever interest meeting best fits their schedule.
An additional meeting will be held at ACC in the ACC auditorium on December 4th, 2018 @ 6:00 PM for parents and students who were unable to attend any of the above sessions held at the middle schools.
Early College applications will be available online and in middle school counselor offices on December 1, 2018. The deadline for completion and submission of the application is January 29, 2019. Applications can be submitted directly to the Early College or to each middle school's counseling department.
Bus Driver Training Classes
Alamance-Burlington Schools is hosting 5 Bus Driver Training classes through the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. The classes are sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Division of School Bus and Traffic Safety
Classes have been scheduled as follows:
Each series of classes will be held in the auditorium at the Alamance-Burlington Schools Administrative Office located at 1712 Vaughn Road in Burlington.
Each class schedule is as follows:
- Day 1 class is held from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Day 2 class is held from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Day 3 class is held from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
To register for one of the class series, complete an online application.
