Greetings Bulldog Family,
I am very proud to serve as principal of Walter M. Williams High School, a school steeped in rich traditions and dedicated to student success. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from NC State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia.
This is my sixth year in school leadership. Before becoming a principal, I served as a high school assistant principal in the Atlanta Metropolitan area with Atlanta Public Schools and Gwinnett County Public Schools. However, I spent my entire teaching career in North Carolina, serving as a mathematics teacher with Asheboro City Schools and Guilford County Schools.
I believe that all students deserve access to rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning opportunities that are personalized to meet their unique needs, which prepares them to live choice-filled lives. This only happens when a school and families work together toward a shared vision that best serves the students. I look forward to partnering with faculty, staff, and parents to continue the success of Williams High!

Hello Bulldogs Family!
I am humbled and proud to be a part of the tradition of excellence that is Walter M. Williams High School. I received my undergraduate degree in Business Education from Appalachian State University and later went on to obtain a Career Development Facilitator certificate through NC Works. After a number of years as a teacher and career counselor in Wake County, I decided to pursue a Masters of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.In my spare time, you can usually find me on a soccer field officiating collegiate soccer. I am fortunate to work for numerous Division I conferences and enjoy still being able to be involved with the sport that I fell in love with at the age of five! I also grew up an avid outdoorsman and enjoy hiking, camping, and high adventure activities. I believe that each person has a unique talent and part of the mission of a public school system is to explore and foster that talent while maintaining a safe and successful environment for all. Individualized instruction and an intentional focus on cultivating positive relationships with youth learners are paramount in preparing our students for the next phase of their lives whether that be Enlistment in our Armed Services, Education at a higher institution, or Employment. Students First, Quality for All!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, I am a dad of two very active elementary age boys. I also enjoy playing tennis, hiking and camping. I believe all students have the right to a safe and equitable learning environment and I look forward to contributing to and providing the best possible space for students and staff to share, learn, and grow.

Hello! I am proud to be starting my 6th year as an administrator with the Walter M. Williams High School family. Prior to starting my career as an assistant principal, I was a 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Rockingham County Middle School. In 2014 I received the Principal Fellows Scholarship and left the classroom to pursue my Masters in School Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In 2016 I joined the Alamance-Burlington School System as an Assistant Principal. While working at Graham High I earned my Education Specialist degree from Appalachian State University and Doctorate of Education in Leadership in Learning Organizations from Vanderbilt University. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring my learning and experience to Bulldog Nation!
I believe in the transformative power of a high quality educational experience. As Nelson Mandela told us, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Thus, I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, equitable, and effective learning environment for our students. I appreciate being afforded the opportunity to serve the students, staff, and families of the Williams community.
