• I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the 2021-2022 school year at the Career and Technical Education Center.  We are excited about many new opportunities that will be available for students in the Alamance Burlington School System.  We continue our partnership with Alamance Community College and will host the next cohort of students in the College and Career Promise (CCP) as ABSS students will take college courses taught by the professors at ACC on our campus during the third block.
We are also excited about our relationship with the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham.  The teachers at the NCSSM will be teaching honors courses in Aerospace Engineering, Forensic Science, Artificial Intelligence, Genetics and Biotechnology, African American Studies, and Global Public Health via the Virtual Classroom during this school year.  These additions, along with our exceptional course offerings in Health Sciences, Computer Programming, Digital Design, Computer Engineering, Automotive, Culinary, Digital Media and Engineering offers students a wide variety of course offerings to meet their educational needs.

Please take a moment to visit our campus to see all the exciting things happening at the Career and Technical Education Center.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 336-570-6092 or email me at Darrell_Thomas@abss.k12.nc.us.
