    This is my second year teaching  2nd Grade and my third year teaching at Grove Park.  I have also taught Kindergarten and 1st grade. I earned my M.Ed from UNCG in 2010 and I truly enjoy teaching.  It is exciting to see my student's progress throughout the year and I ALWAYS encourage parent involvement.      In August of 2015 I became a part of the Technology Apprentice Program in ABSS and have google chromebooks for each student in my class. Through this program I am learning how to create a blended classroom through the use of technology. So, at any given time, we have lots of new and exciting things going in my classroom involving technology. Google Classroom is a huge part of our class during class time and is a tool we are using to complete assignments and communicate from home as well.
