Bienvenidos a Primer Grado!

 

My name is Paola Contreras. I am the First Grade teacher at the Spanish Immersion Program. I have a beautiful family with a wonderful husband called Oscar and two sweet baby boys Samuel and Martín. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish for Elementary Education from Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia and a Masters Degree in Education from Elon University.

 

I have been teaching at Elon Elementary for about 10 years in the Spanish Immersion Program. I am committed to bilingual education and I believe in the importance of learning a second language as a great way for students to become global citizens.

 

 

This is going to be a wonderful year. Your kids will have so much fun and learn at the same time!
