Welcome to Western!Mary Beth DowlerRoom A8538-6020Welcome!!! I am so excited to be able to teach your son/daughter this year. It will be an amazing semester. I am originally from New Jersey and still maintain some "Northern" pronunciations of words. I graduated from Elon College and actually did my student teaching at Western (back in the dinosaur age). Since my return to Western, I have taught 9th grade and 11th grade Advance Placement and love both. I am married to Rich Dowler who is a math teacher here, and we have one daughter Mackenzie who is a freshman at Rutgers University in New Jersey. I absolutely love teaching and could not see myself doing anything else. My door is always open to students and parents alike for help, advice, etc. Do not hesitate to contact me. Looking forward to a great semester!Parents: Please complete this information form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1qwcTIXC07C_QxT0RM_OI0DMd5RPnw84lOUZr021Ng8E/editMy welcome video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fLaPMG_eQvfQa2zQyC50LdSAhcl0CC_F/view?usp=sharingParents click here if you want to be an observer for class: https://www.abss.k12.nc.us/site/handlers/filedownload.ashx?moduleinstanceid=79272&dataid=138754&FileName=Canvas%20Observer.pdf
