    My name is Sadie "Lynn" Phelan and I will be your child’s Science & Social Studies teacher for the 2018-2019 school year - the graduating class of 2025!!! I have been teaching for over sixteen years in preschools, elementary schools, and middle schools. I am very happy that this is my eighth year at Hawfields Middle! I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and I am currently working on my Master's degree in Applied Arts and Science.

     

    In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding motorcycles, drawing, watching movies and relaxing outside.  

     

    I intend to make learning a positive experience for your child and ask that you help me by supporting your child at home. I do have high expectations for every child that comes into my classroom. Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns.
