               My name is Mrs. Buckner and I am very excited to be your child's second grade teacher this year!  This is my twelfth year of teaching.  This is my third year at Alexander Wilson.   This will be my fifth year of teaching second grade.                                                     
               We are going to have a great school year!  Please continue to make sure your child is at school on time.  Breakfast starts at 7:15 am.  The tardy bell rings at 7:50 am. 
           Keep reading with your child each night and practicing their sight words so they can continue to make excellent progress!  Please make sure your child returns their Monday folder every Tuesday!  Please sign your child's behavior calendar and read 20 minutes with your child each night. Your child will have 1 question to answer about their reading each night. Your child also has a tic tac toe spelling homework sheet for Monday-Thursday nights.
