    This is my 17th year teaching at Sylvan Elementary and my 22nd year teaching kindergarten or 1st grade.  It is exciting to see children develop throughout the year - becoming confident readers, writers, and mathematicians who can work collaboratively to solve problems.  High expectations and engaging learning opportunities lead to independent and responsible learners. I strongly believe that parent involvement is an integral part of a successful school year.  Please feel free to email me, send a note in the STAR book or message me through Dojo with any questions and/or concerns.
