    ConnectEd Message About PreACT 10/17/21
Thursday, October 21, 2021, will be a special day dedicated to the PreACT exam.  All current 10th grade students will take this exam.  Testing will begin at 8:30am and will conclude around 1pm.   Lunch will be provided; 10th grade students, please fill out this Google form to indicate whether you would like a school lunch or will bring your own lunch.  Parents/guardians of 10th grade students, please view the ACT Parent Letter in English or Spanish. Students in 9th, 11th, or 12th grade do not come to school; this will be an asynchronous day for you to complete lessons in Canvas or another learning management system.   Any non-sophomore students who are taking ACC or Elon classes must still attend those classes in person on Thursday, October 21. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing all 10th graders on Thursday!

PreACT message sent to 10th grade students on 10/20:

PreACT Testing Guidelines for Thursday, October 21

-Good evening, Williams 10th grade students.  This is Loma Shibata, Testing Coordinator at Williams High School.  We look forward to seeing you tomorrow for the PreACT.  I wanted to answer some questions that some of you have about the test.

-Materials will be provided for testing.   You do not need to bring anything with you unless you want to bring your own lunch. If you would like a school lunch, we will get a count before testing begins.

-If you are a car rider or walk to school, please be at school at your usual time, by 8:20 am.  If you are a bus rider,  you will ride your bus at the scheduled time in the morning and you will be dismissed to buses in the afternoon when testing is finished, at around 1:00 pm.

-If you don’t know your testing room number yet, there will be teachers and staff members in the hallway tomorrow morning who can help you find your testing room.

-You will eat lunch in the classrooms as they finish testing.  Students will be dismissed when testing is finished in the building, at about 1:00 pm.

-Please get a good night’s rest and be prepared to do your best tomorrow!
