This is my sixteenth year in education and my eleventh year as a school counselor, all within the Alamance-Burlington School System.  I hold a BA in Elementary Education from Elon University and a MS/EdS in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I have been married for 26 years and have three sons, two of which are recent grads of Williams High School and one tenth grader at Williams High School. As one of the school counselors at Hawfields Middle School, I work with students, parents, teachers and administrators to improve the school climate and help individual students meet their fullest potential. Some of the services in the school counseling program are:
    • Classroom Guidance lessons based on the ASCA Standards and the North Carolina Essential Standards
    • Small-group counseling sessions dealing with various cognitive and/or socio-emotional issues
    • Individual counseling
    • Conferences with parents, teachers and administrators

    I also serve as Hawfield's:

    • 504 Chair
    • Crisis Team Member
    • MTSS Team Consultant
    • PBIS Team Consultant
    • SSST Team Member
