This is my nineteenth year in education and my fourteenth year as a school counselor, all within the Alamance-Burlington School System. I hold a BA in Elementary Education from Elon University and a MS/EdS in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I have been married for 29 years and have three sons, all three of which are graduates of Williams High School. As one of the school counselors at Hawfields Middle School, I work with students, parents, teachers and administrators to improve the school climate and help individual students meet their fullest potential. Some of the services in the school counseling program are:
- Classroom Guidance lessons based on the ASCA Standards and the North Carolina Essential Standards
- Small-group counseling sessions dealing with various cognitive and/or socio-emotional issues
- Individual counseling; Last name beginning with N - Z
- Conferences with parents, teachers and administrators
