    Vice President

Megan Edwards was born and raised right here in Mebane. She and her husband Chris have been married 10 years and live on a sweet little farm just down the road from Garrett Elementary with their 3 beautiful kids. Neil in second grade, Leah in Kindergarten and Kylee, 18months old, will attend Garrett in a few years.

Megan is a busy full time mom and part time wellness coach. She enjoys country living raising her kids, garden and farm animals.

She feels family is extremely important and wants to be a part of her kids education and school activities. She hopes more parents will join the PTO efforts to care for our students and staff!

Shelia Rudder is a North Carolina native. Born and raised in Kinston, NC. She has been in the Mebane area for a little over 10 years. She has a daughter and son at Garrett. Go Science Olympiads!!!

Shelia has worked in retail, nursing, and day care. She is currently a stay at home mom.  If elected this will be her first time representing the pto.

Shelia wanted to run for secretary to be like any parent - help make the school better and represent its staff and students proudly. She feels that she can use her organizational skills to help bring    communication out to the Garrett family, help with parents questions and concerns, but most importantly.... unite parents to support our school and proudly show that GATOR pride.

Tina Pierce has lived in Alamance County all her life. She is married to Anthony Pierce who works hard to allow her to be a stay at home mom for over 10 years. They have three wonderful children and two of them attend Garrett.

Tina currently presides as the Garrett representative at the ABSS VOICE Meetings.

Tina is also the parent representative on the Garrett Leadership committee.

Tina’s passion is being able to advocate for all children not just her own.
