Students and Parents:  Please see new page PE Activities at Home.  New activites, games, exercises, logs, etc. will be posted here.  Remember, the goal is 60 minutes of physical activity everyday.  Does not have to be consecutive (can do 10 minutes of something and then an hour later do 15 minutes of something else) just try to get a total of at least one hour a day of Moderate to Vigorous physical activty.  In other words, you should be breathing harder and probably sweating some!

My name is Todd Traumuller and I am the Physical Education teacher at Andrews Elementary. I am looking forward to another exciting year working with your children during the 2019-20 school year.

I graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from UNC-G in 1997.  In 2008, I earned my National Board certification in Physical Education.  I have since successfully completed the renewal process to maintain my NBCT status.

My primary focus outside of work is spending time with my wonderful wife and our two beautiful children.
 
I cherish the opportunity to work with you and your child in helping to develop his/her movement skills, concepts of physical fitness, and the ability to demonstrate responsibility and respect for both self and others.

April Move Calendar This calendar gives you one physical activity to do each day.  Try to use it as a reminder to do something active each day! 
 
Exercise Challenge   For this week, choose 5 exercises from list to do each day.   i will be posting uploaded short videos for demonstrations for most of these (look in the ANNOUNCEMENTS section).  I think we have done a lot of them in class, so you should be familiar with many of them.  Don't forget, focus on using correct form and being in control of your body as you move.  Don't just see how fast you can do the exercise.
