• E. M. Holt Elementary School, established in 1927, is located in Alamance County. We have a student population of approximately 550 students.
The faculty and staff of E. M. Holt  Elementary know that the primary function of a school is to educate, but that task encompasses more than just learning the traditional "three r's of reading, writing, and arithmetic."  It also involves learning how to get along with others, acquiring an appreciation for one's heritage, and  showing proper respect and courtesy to all  persons.

It is to these goals that we dedicate  our efforts to the students at E. M. Holt each and every day.
