• Welcome to my website!

First I would like to give you some background information about myself. I was born and raised here in Burlington, and attended A.O Elementary, Western Middle, and High. I love it here and enjoy being close to family and friends. I am going into my 10th year of teaching at Grove Park. Previously I attended UNCG where I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Education, while working in a child care center caring for small children from infants to four years of age. I love working with younger students and watching how quickly they learn.
When I am not in the classroom I am spending time with my family, and friends. I have an Australian Shepard named Shelby. For fun I enjoy reading books, volunteering in the community to help others, and vacationing every chance I get. Going to the lake is one of my favorite things.
I look forward to this coming school year, and being apart of such a wonderful school full of great educators, and students. One of my favorite things about working here at Grove Park is that we implement a great reading program that helps build a school full of GREAT readers. So with that being said, GET EXCITED ABOUT READING!! We have several steps to accomplish this year, and reading is really important to everyone at Grove Park.
