The purpose of my website is to share important information with students, parents, teachers and the community about our comprehensive School Counseling Program at Southern Alamance High School.
This is my 13th year working as a Professional School Counselor and my 20th year in education. I have enjoyed serving SAHS since January of 2014. Prior to coming to Southern I was a school counselor at Graham Middle School and a School Social Worker in Guilford County. I graduated from Graham High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). While at UNCG, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. After working a few years, I went back to school to get my master's degree in Counselor Education from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University. It's my goal to deliver a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program that ensures all students are prepared with 21st Century skills and graduate “career and college” ready.
In my free time, I love spending time with my daughter, traveling to the NC Coast and shopping.
