    I'm so happy to serve as the Academic Coach for the teachers and students of Broadview Middle!  

     
    So... what exactly does an Academic Coach do?
    Academic Coaches assist in enhancing the level of instruction that occurs in classrooms. Some of my duties are to: 
    • co-plan and co-teach units/lessons 
    • facilitate coaching cycles with teachers focusing on their goals for students
    • offer descriptive feedback to teachers following classroom visits
    • help teachers collaborate on common units, lessons, and assessments 
    • participate in PLCs (Professional Learning Communities)
    • work with the Leadership Team to carry out the school's mission and vision
