Mrs. Silver

Hello! My name is Heather Silver. I am so excited to return to the Patriot family as an educator in the Health Sciences Department!!  I am incredibly proud to be a Southern Alamance High School alumnus.  While at Southern, I gained many positive experiences in the Health Sciences Courses, then called Health Occupations.  My instructor, Margaret Parham positively influenced not only my academic & professional life, but positively impacted my life in general.  I hope to do the same for the students entrusted to me.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Aaron. We have 2 daughters, Kamryn & Annistan. Our world currently revolves around travel softball & we love it!! As a family, we enjoy camping, music, movies, and traveling to the beach and the mountains.

Since graduating from the Alamance Community College School of Nursing in 2005, I have been working as a Registered Nurse in the inpatient setting. I am looking forward to graduating from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing Education. I have a passion for life-long learning and hope to share that passion with the future health care professionals enrolled in the Health Science courses at SAHS!!
