I earned my B.S. degree in 1979 in Early Childhood Education with a Specialization in Multi-handicapped Children from George Peabody College for Teachers, now of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. My M.A. degree in Curriculum & Instruction in Special Education in 2005 is from New Mexico State University. After teaching in K-12 classrooms in public schools for 30 years in Tennessee, Arizona, Florida, and New Mexico, I am happy to be at GHS serving and supporting our incredible teachers! My husband, Dan Davis, Ph.D., serves principals & their leadership teams in a similar way working for NCDPI. We have been married for 33 years and have two beautiful, intelligent and creative children: Tommy, 29, is a chef and an accomplished musician in Denver, CO, and Natalie, 26, has a B.A. degree in Fashion Design and is working on her Masters in CAM in Portland, OR. Please free to call or email me! I'm here to support instruction in our classrooms in any way I can.
