I have taught in both Guilford County and Alamance County for the past 14 years. This is my 5th year as the Remediation Specialist at Highland Elementary. I have a BS degree in Human Development and Learning from Lynchburg College and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Greensboro College.
At Highland, I help facilitate MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) for our staff and students. I work with small groups of students in Kindergarten through fifth grade to help fill their academic needs. Please click on the 'MTSS' link to the left to learn more about this process.  I am a huge animal lover. Some of my favorites include sea otters and panda bears. I enjoy baking and cooking, as well as travel and photography. I am often traveling to visit my friends and family. I am also a huge Disney fan. My fur baby is a sweet little pit bull that I adopted from a rescue organization and named her Cheerio after my favorite cereal!
