• photograph of Ms. Bruch wearing glasses, a mask with the SA logo and short hair. I am thrilled to be the Media Coordinator (Librarian) at Southern Alamance High School! I truly enjoy working with the students, faculty, staff, and administration at Southern, and I want the library media program and media center to meet the needs of everyone in our school community. Find Media Center information at the media center site.
I can be reached by email at elizabeth_bruch@abss.k12.nc.us, by phone at (336)570-6400 extension 38827, or in person at the media center.  I look forward to hearing from you!
If you would prefer to provide anonymous feedback, suggest specific titles, or learn more about the media program, I encourage you to fill out the survey at or generally explore the media center site.
Student Library Media Assistants are encouraged to keep up with assignments and other information through Canvas. No special supplies are needed at this point - pens, paper, computer. Some may be needed throughout the course, but students will be given ample notice. Please let me know if any requests would pose a financial burden and we'll figure something out.
Club Info: I'm the advisor for Culture Shock Club and United Club. Ask me about them! Clubs meet weekly during Patriot time during the 2021-2022 school year.
About me:  I am from Durham, North Carolina, and I received my undergraduate degree in French with a Concentration in Women's Studies from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, a Masters of Social Work degree from UNC-Chapel Hill (I remain an avid Duke fan, though), and most recently a Masters of Library Science degree from North Carolina Central University. I've been at Southern since February of 2015.
