• Welcome to Ms. McQuain's Class!

    My name is Ms. Lainey McQuain and this is my second year at Western Alamance High School! I was raised in Harnett County, North Carolina. I am a proud Elon University alumna; I majored in English with Teacher Licensure, and I minored in History. During my time at Elon, I participated in Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Tau Delta, Kappa Delta Pi, and Triad Intercollegiate Conference. I also conducted and presented original research on origami in education. For the 2016-2017 school year, I am teaching Honors English II, English II, and AP English Language and Composition.
