    My name is Dominique Martin, and I will be teaching 1st grade this year. I graduated from Elon University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Last summer, I got my add-on certification for Elementary Education (K-6). This is my 5th year teaching, but it is my first year at Highland. I was previously a kindergarten teacher at Pleasant Grove Elementary. I am looking forward to being part of the Highland community!
